Botanising trackside up the Greenstone and Caples valleys this week! Aciphylla, Celmisia, Hoheria (just finished flowering 😥) and berries in all the colours on the Coprosmas. Lots of titipounamu (riflemen), which I think have to be the cutest birds Things on the plant stand @larnachcastle right now, nurtured by yours truly: Aconitum (species unknown but it needs support) Hakonechloa macra 'Aureola' Gladiolus papilio Gladiolus papilio 'Ruby' Angelica sylvestris 'Vicar's Mead' Hydrangea aspera V What a treat to visit @jo.wakelin in her garden today. Such beauty under an unforgiving sun and Jo is a wonderful host, generous with time and knowledge. Thank you Jo, I absolutely loved it. What a lovely client.
